ArtemisWave

ArtemisWave is a Swiss composer of Hard-Trance music from the 90s.
Contrary to popular belief, ArtemisWave has absolutely nothing to do with the group "Artemis" from "Atoom Records" except the passion for Hardtrance music.

Arrived in the middle of the Eighties under the name of Guillaume, I from an early age was lulled by electronic music.
When I was 8, I touched my first piano keys to spend two years on the keyboard.
I composed my first songs at the beginning of 2000 with a "Korg Karma" and a "Roland MC 505" that I recorded on cassettes (many of these nuggets are still hiding in my den). I really developed my Home-Studio in 2004, first by the component part then by the mix part in 2007. Since then, a lot of things have changed but my Technics SL 1200 MK5 turntables are still there!

My musical inspirations are varied: Jean-Michel Jarre, the different compilations of the 90s (Dance Mission / Rave Mission / Hardtrancer / Ravermeister / Thunderdome) then the 2000s of Clubbing Switzerland (Goliath / Tranceescape).

In the midst of all these styles, the Hardtrance of the 90s remains my great musical love.

Currently, I compose and mix on vinyls. I am an epicurean of music: the decibels are not enough for me, I need something concrete in hand and the unique sizzle announcing good sounds from vinyls that have been playing for hours.

Apart from vinyls, I also collect the different compilations mentioned above.
