Customer service is terrible and might as well be nonexistent. They offered 10% refund on an item with physical damage and I had to fight for weeks to get a replacement sent. Apparently I am one of the lucky ones. I’ll never order directly from them again - in part because it doesn’t seem they release much interesting stuff.
This used to be an interesting label to me but the releases of the last couple years have been confounding. Why release this stuff?? Maybe the rights are cheap?
Pressing quality was good but I can’t speak for the recent pressings.

I’ve been a fan of LITA since the Wheedle’s Groove days but I’m done with this label and will never purchase anything of theirs again. I got an expensive ($300) remastered box set of theirs for Christmas that had a bunch of pressing defects (loud pops and ticks, distortion, etc). After over 3 months of going back and forth with customer service, and sending video clips to verify my claims. I was finally told I was out of luck because the person who gave me the box set purchased it from a distributor and not directly through them. Pressing defects are the label's responsibility and not the distributor, and at this point, even if I wanted to go back to the distributor, it’s been 4+ months since it was purchased and they’re not going to do anything. As a consolation they offered me 10% off my next purchase. This is unacceptable. If I’ve had this much of a problem with them, why in the world would I want to give them even more money?

In addition to all this, I’m now seeing single LPs from them going for between $50-$95 on preorder. Get out of here with that nonsense, that’s absurd and a total rip off.

I haven't had a bad experience with any of my LITA purchases so far, and I'm thankful to be able to get some of the obscure horror soundtracks they carry. Maybe I'm not listening hard enough for defects?

Now that Rainbo has closed, who are they using the press their records? I know they were using Erika Records (yuck) fairly recently.

Really interesting releases but pressing quality is consistently awful. Seems so weird to go to the trouble of curating /remastering albums and then end up with noisy, pocked & scratched pressings. Had 3 releases now and they've all been disappointing... Think I'm done with LITA. Shame.

Terrible customer service and very slow shipping.... If I hadn't contacted them, they would never have shipped my record. And this happened twice....

I have to agree with the other reviewers I've seen here. I have to give props to the label for having well-curated selections, but quality control is a problem with their product. Overall, the sound quality has been excellent on what I've picked up by them, but out of the four or so releases I've purchased brand new and sealed, one was slightly warped, one had crackles and surface noise, and a third, the Microcosm box set, featured one record that was off-center with a too-small spindle and the other two LPs had surface scuffs on them.
