Cave12 started its career as a venue for experimental music in Geneva in winter 1989. Its first period of activity spanned the years 1989-1997, during which Cave12 also published two records,"Juliki" and "Haikus Urbains", and organised tours: Tom Cora (USA), Ne Zhdali (Estonia), Ikue Mori (USA), Pied-de-Poule (F), Dunaj (Czech Republic), Neatopia (Japan), etc. In 2001, powered by a new team, Cave12 resumed its function as prime concert venue for experimental music in Geneva. In 2007, a first CD was released under the new imprint Cave12.
