I had no issues until D3, a moody downtempo tune, so you really notice the crackle. :( Other than that, it was a great album and I don't hate myself for having bought it. It'll be one I'll be spinning again and often despite the flaw.
One of the worst sounding pressings I own--side D has lots of noise and the last track is so distorted it's unlistenable. Sides A-C don't sound that great either--very muddy and muffled. I'm very familiar with DMX Krew's work--it never sounds like this. I'm using a properly calibrated high-end turntable, so that's not the problem either. Buyer beware, and it's unbelievable that a label would let something out that is so low quality. I enjoyed streaming the tracks from Bandcamp more than hearing this piece of garbage LP--getting quite tired of being ripped of with bad pressings, which seems to be happening more and more lately, so I decided to post to warn others.
