Avis
- I've got a spare copy of Dr Dre - The Chronic SEALED original that I would be willing to trade (fresh copy only). PM me
Also have org sealed copies of Illmatic, The Infamous, Doggystyle etc. - Well I just learned after 13 years that I've had the boot all along. I even bought it here on discogs back then. Man what a punch in the gut. Wish I could go back in time when most people didn't know about Doom like they do now. Gahh.
- In my personal experience comparing this og 1st press with the metal face RP MF90LP-A/B/C/D NRP, the og sounds deeper and warmer, grooves on the actual records are wider, the voices all sound grimey and rough, with a slight distortion probably due to the nature of the actual recording sessions which imo makes this an experience of what DOOM was and his whole diy way of working. Incredible experience in general, can't stop listening to it. Still got a sealed copy in perfect condition.
- too bad I slept so many times on this one, had it too often in my hands in the store and said to myself "next time" :D and now thanks internet for making this crazy expensive :(
- Modifié il y a 3 anshey friends, there are a few new cats in the game rn, so some friendly advice.
there is a bootleg that has same back cover and labels as the orig fondle em, but has diff rungrooves, so make sure you get a copy w/all 3 if youre paying for an orig press (ie correct back cover, labels, and rungrooves).
that said, the orig fondle em is 1000% the essential copy of this lp, no question. I play tested many diff flavors of the represses vs the orig and all are inferior (some quite meaningfully). the 08' metal face press was the second place finisher, FYI. for my money, wouldnt touch any other presses if you actually care to listen to the music, and would try really hard to find an orig FE 86 if you can. sure others are "fine", but again I found all quite disappointing and none worth owning (certainly not worth paying these redic prices for).
hope this helps someone along their way. RIP DOOM
