Avis
- I love this record - a top example of instrumental / Celtic folk music, nothing cheesy here - its mostly sublime. I do my best to play the melody of the first tune (Jezaig) on guitar, but cannot get it quite right - it's a good one to try / try to work out at home - normal chords, no need for DADGAD tuning, or whatever - give the video a listen. I'm amazed no-one's covered this beautiful tune, to the best of my knowledge. Better than 99.9% of the usual Celtic folk stuff. 5 stars.
Perfect cover art - love the frogs, too good to eat! Color of the cover is a lavender-purple - it looks a lot paler in the images here. Still available at a reasonable price. - My copy's sleeve looks colour-wise more like the picture on the cassette version, a lighter bluish purple!
might be the photo! or another sleeve version? any guesses?
