HUGE in NYC in the clubs (Paradise Garage) & on NYC urban radio in 1981, though we did not really know at the time that it was first released in Italy with a different mix, structure, & title--"Love & Friendship".
Although an entire verse was cut for this NYC remix, it was more than worth it, as it stomps all over that original mix.
I remember owning this couple decades ago and it just vanished. By mere coincidence I got a copy in my hands not knowing it was this classic and as soon as the needle gently touched the record shivers went down my spine. This is to me the best track on this remarkable label. What a disco stomper, my friends.
