Hello Spiex! We aren't currently supporting Chinese on Discogs. Supporting Chinese (or simplified Chinese) has been discussed, but there aren't any immediate plans to add Chinese as a language we support. Unfortunately, Discogs isn't currently accessed by many people who speak Chinese.

We would love to have more Chinese releases on Discogs. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or feedback about how Discogs could better serve our Chinese community. Thanks!

I wish to start a translation for Greece and greek users!

Greek isn't currently a supported language on Discogs, so we can't yet accept Greek translations. Because there are Transifex costs and general support costs for each additional language we add, we aren't accepting translations for all languages. However, Greek is very high up on our lists of languages we will consider once we are ready to support more languages. If we add support for Greek, I will be sure to contact you. Thanks for your interest! :)

I agree we would love to eventually support Finnish! Unfortunately, we don't currently support Finnish. There is a significant cost associated with supporting each new language, so we are limiting supported language currently. However, I will be sure to contact you in the future if we are able to add support for Finnish on Discogs. Thanks for your interest!

Hi HRLE92! I hope we can eventually support Chinese on Discogs! It's something we've seriously considered and discussed in the past.

There is significant cost to supporting more languages, and currently, it doesn't seem like Discogs is popular enough with Chinese speaking visitors to justify the cost. Currently less than 1% of our traffic comes from Chinese language visitors. And that's including all Chinese language visitors together (zh-CN + zh-tw + zh-hk + zh).

But maybe some day! If we ever start supporting Chinese on Discogs, I'll message you and everyone in this thread that has expressed interest in Chinese translations. :) Thanks for your interest!

Hello! We aren't currently translating Discogs into Chinese. It's been considered in the past, but there isn't currently enough of an audience to justify the cost. I just checked, and less than 1% of site traffic is from users who have their language set to Chinese (including all zh language locales).
