Special edition 50 copies unicef blue vinyl

I would like to know the possible value of one of the 50 blue vinyl copies released by unicef of the album Axis: Bold as Love by Jimi Hendrix

I suggest making a release and seeing if people list any, how much they put it on there for considering their and you vinyl condition, and the have/want ratio.

Looks like something in the neighbourhood of 650£ is what it goes for.

If you have it and want to sell it, I might raise the price a little higher than that, and as a gesture of goodwill, given that the initial campaign was to benefit UNICEF, donate a portion of the sale to them or a similar NGO in your area (e.g. Doctors Without Borders or Oxfam). That's my prerogative, though you're fee to do as you wish :)

I 'over-pay' all the time for charity auctions. As far as the value outside of the charity aspect, you'd have to throw it on ebay and see what the going rate really is.

It will be interesting the see what kind of prices these records actually sell for though, since of course one can ask for any amount in the world but they are only worth what someone pays for them.

I've been lucky enough to get Paul Weller - A Kind Revolution. # 19 of 50. There are a few on eBay already, some realistic, others aspirational/greedy. If I end up selling mine i'll certainly give back a percentage to UNICEF.

Looks like the Hendrix blue vinyl has sold for €440.00, so that's what it is worth! (to someone anyway). Someone else is trying to sell it for £1,000.00 now.

I was lucky enough to get the Nick Cave one, which people are trying to sell from £700.00 to US$1,500.00. Mine of course is worth $0 since I will never sell it because Nick Cave is my favourite.

That is the attitude! Bravo! I am a bit hurt by people getting high on the price of their collection instead of the music...
