And seeing as this one has a 1 on it, yeah, probably at least a #2 coming. I've been needing some new Deepchord in my life! and it's on Soma no less :D

I've been thinking the same thing, and checking the usual suspects as well for some time... with all of the Echospace grumbling continuing, it's time to have some actual new music from Mr. Modell... can't wait for a few to drop :)
I can't wait to hear this in it's entirety, extraits are great, but I've always felt Rod was dialed into the bigger picture of a project, I can't imagine what he's curated with this. If this is anything like his past releases on Soma, I'm sure we're all in for an absolute diamond of an album!
the samples do sound a bit more.. unique? i thought one harkened back a bit more to the well-established soma deepchord sound, whereas two seems to expand the horizon a bit. 'glyphs' is lush, and 'orbitals' is wonderfully reminiscent of porter ricks. 'leafiness' brings to mind dc's carolina forest mix of colours of time. gorgeous sound design all around. the new lp should be great
Mark_Anthony 2 better than one, blind buys of course.

I'm guessing without any research, because it says "extraits", meaning extracts, I'm imagining a Hashbar Loops scenario where the primary album comes out on CD and or vinyl, and these are individual add-on tracks, unique.

And again this beautiful Soma-Deepchord artwork!
Like a canvas by Edward Hopper, it shows the special atmosphere that opens up in a summery evening mood. Despite the warmth of the temperature, a melancholic loneliness manifests itself, which lies dormant in every person and which Rod is able to capture in his tracks...
Summer Night Versions has a similarly beautiful cover in my opinion.
