Not sure if it's just my record but the 2018 repress i have distorts on peaks. I played 3 different records and changed needles and changed volumes to make sure it wasn't my equipment, even does it on low volume. It's a real shame, because its a record that really needs detail and something ive been really looking forward too. Will try another setup and report back.

Crazy story, told a friend about the funny name of this album, he asked me the artist and he came out that Raul Lovisoni was his music teacher at secondary school and a ''caracter'' of hour hometown!
Grandfather of a common friend, never knew he made music before

Lovisoni's contributions consist of some enjoyable contemporary classical that narrowly avoids the tacky and reductionist Orientalism common to its era, while Messina's work is a little too close to proto-new age for my comfort. Recently reissued on Die Schachtel, meaning you can avoid the $300 sticker shock of the original copies.
