I like all Sun Araw but I think that "The Saddle" might be his best. Incredible stuff, really.
Also the pressing of Sun Araw albums are generally excellent, you feel like you are obtaining a work of art, it just sounds amazing. Definitely get this record if you like the Sun Araw post-The Inner Treaty.

the first track is annoying as all hell, but settles down into a nice, primitive musical journey.

This album has such a beautiful pressing, no surface noise at all, which is a rarity these days, clean and bright, sounds amazing. Heavy duty card sleeve, lovely gatefold and design, can see and feel the quality behind it all. An artist and album to savour, so saddle up and enjoy the ride.
