I bought a secondhand copy that includes a Touch and Go mail-order catalog for spring of 1995. I can only assume this pressing is from around then

Decent sounding pressing with an alternate cover from US version... I think I have the "Cream Corn From the Socket of Davis" alternate cover version from Fundamental as well, didn't see it in the stacks recently though so I'm not sure if I still have it or not... don't need to get all OCD about Butthole Surfers pressings but it's kind of nice to have the equally bizarre alternate import covers... they were pretty much hitting them out of the park with every release around this time...

I emailed Matador back on 4/24/24 when I purchased this censored album asking why and who decided to omit Negro Observer, I received no response from the cowards at Matador Records… shameful, very disappointing

Attempting to erase music for political reasons is so lame. Matador should be ashamed. Avoid this censored re-issue at all costs.

Lovely album but why remove a song? Buy an original or older remaster. This is worthless

Ugh, I bought this right after it came out in 85, it disappeared at a party in 87. I was in Florida for Thanksgiving, yesterday I went to a local record store, saw it for $21.00 and thought “damn that’s a decent price” I usually don’t check Discogs for reviews of records I’ve heard before on labels that are supposedly reputable. I should have. Now I need to buy another copy

So this actually appears to be a new release. Negro Observer is not omitted in my version. The track listing and all text on the center label is orange instead of white. The runout is really hard for me to read but it looks like 22123 and then a series of symbols. Anyone else have this? The record store clerk, who is also the buyer, told me he just got it in, and that the band was involved in this release. If anyone has this and can create a new entry, please do. I'm still new to this and not ready for that responsibility lol. But this pressing is very good to my ears and has the full track list

Great job documenting the differences pressings! I was gifted two crates of d punk and new wave albums and this record was still sealed so I had no idea which version it was.
