Clearaudio Emotion with Hana SL cartridge and McIntosh electronics- Arguably, the best compilation of all Beatles music- so many classics that never made LP tracks all here , among some great rarities
Modificato 1 anno faI’m playing this on a Fluance RT-85 turntable w/an Ortofon 2m Blue cart, thru Fluance XL8F towers, Fluance DB12 subwoofer and a fully restored Marantz 2245 receiver and this sounds Glorious!! I have Mono And the best sounding Stereo pressings of Every Beatles album. From the prized mono Sgt Pepper to the German Magical Mystery Tour and Although, No Beatle record on the planet will top those pressings Of Course! I can honestly say that this can hold its own against the best. And I’m Picky! Especially with The Beatles and Led Zeppelin! Fantastic Super Quiet and Dynamic Sound on this! I have the Mono Masters version (and Yes an Ortofon Mono Cart) and I hate to say it but this remaster holds its own! This precise pressing? Highly recommended Of Course! The packaging of this is every bit as good as the Mono Masters as well. Super glossy and representative of how The Beatles Should be done! Mic drop. Just buy it
Perfect and great sound .. 24/44.1 is the lowest hi res but still sounds great. This is a great presentation and sounds really good. It does suffer from the "safe" cutting they used - cutting out the extreme highs and "sss". It loses some attack. That being said my pressing was perfect sounds good and noise free. Def sounds better even than my japanese ShM version. Its all about the cutting engineer with vinyl. And IMO does not sound like a CD on vinyl in any way. Many complaints about the pressing issues on this...remember in 2012 vinyl was not a focus ...the plants were using old presses ...the workers were mostly inexperienced and vinyl was still not a concern even for the Beatles. So I will say it again...if you got a bad copy...return it and get a new one. Most places ..unlike in the vinyl heyday...will be more than happy to replace it for you. At least that is my experience.
WOW! My pressing is crystal clear, amazing to hear these songs in mono as they were meant to be heard when they were made and in perfect quality. I love it!- Much better then CD sound. This release has good sound quality. As a Beatles fan and collector, this was a must have release for me.
Mine came with manufacturing defect, small dried particles of wax in the grooves causes skipping throughout. Has been ultrasonically cleaned too.
