    A very bleak ambient album.

The first half (tracks 1 through 3) are provided by New Risen Throne. An ambient artist from Italy. The theme behind the CD seems to be people living at a post war location. The artwork (the booklet and back cover have great photography by the way) depicts desolated cities with damaged buildings and rubble laying about. New Risen Throne's tracks really recreate what such a scenerio would be like. If you close your eyes in the dark while listening - you can imagine being there.

Cruel Harvest is up next with the last 4 tracks. For those who don't know, Cruel Harvest is the project of the owner of God is Myth Records, Todd. His tracks aren't quite as gripping and intense as the first 3. Its almost as if his tracks takes place at a different location of the story - a more peaceful and less frightening location.

All in all... A great dark ambient album. There are some very creepy voice samples used throughout the 7 tracks.
