The first track on this release (5.12.) has been completely spoiled by some unsolicited, unskillful, & unapproved "mastering" attempt, and then was published by the label against the explicit wish of the artist, who only discovered the blunder by pure chance via random web browsing.

The original version of the track can be found on the free (or pay-what-you-want) album 8m² Stereo - For The Birds.

Update: additionally i've been waiting for the promised artist copies of this CD for over half a year now,
the label owner advised me not to send any further friendly reminders...
altogether simply an unexpectedly wonderful experience.

2 different versions of this CD seem to exist, please see http://www.oberlin.edu/faculty/rknight/nyama.htm -> " Please note that the earliest copies of this CD, which appeared in May 1996, contain a flaw in No. 7, Cheddo (the first 1,5 minutes are missing). The flaw was corrected in May 1997... please examine the timings printed on the jacket. The two versions of the CD look identical in every way except for the timings ... (on the reissue) Note the timing of 9:54 for Cheddo and 69:11 for the total time"

The gunman who killed six people on August 5, 2012 at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin before he was shot to death by police, then killed himself,
was 40-year-old Army veteran Wade Michael Page, former leader of the white supremacist metal band End Apathy (& Definite Hate, see back cover).

to answer the questions above:
both case & vinyl of the Robert Rauschenberg version were originally completely Clear,
and almost all are now, after 25+ years, discolored & brownish, even "sealed" ones,
still some sellers are sadly trying to offer "Near Mint" Gold-tinted case & Coffee-coloured vinyl ..
there were No different pressings, but the plastics have degraded from ageing, oxidising & airborne dirt.

nonetheless a great artefact, and Rauschenberg donated his royalties ..

Zehnkampf as reviewed by 8m2stereo

Zehnkampf (transl. Decathlon) was an innovative collaborative music releasing approach, curated by Frankfurt musician Bodo Elsel in the second half of the 1990s. He invited friends, musicians and other artists, to share 10 percent of the production costs of each LP, contribute one of the 10 tracks and then recieve 30 of the total 300 copies for own distribution. The records were pressed in the Czech Republic, each volume came in a different vinyl colour and contained a surprising variety of electronic musics. Some of the artists meeting for the first time through these releases then invited eachother to collaborations and live or DJ sets at their hometown clubs. Bodo Elsel had a major underground electro dancefloor hit with his track 'Fantasie Mädchen', which first appeared on Vol.7 / Acid Rock and then was signed by Playhouse.

The missing Zehnkampf #5 was a series of t-shirts in black, blue and olive with the label's logo printed in white, #10 was to be a double LP but was unfortunately never released. There are a total of 600 copies of Zehnkampf Vol.6 due to a free repressing run of additional 300 after a small click on the first batch.
