Nothing is known about harumi, despite a long search for the artist. They sound like a psychedelic-japanese Beatles band. There's also an existential 24-minute poetry piece.

Trumpets and phasing, nice melodies and a lot of different instruments, flowers and colors in the music and on the sleeve, take a trip to these beautiful japanese garden inclusive snippets of Bach, Sinatra and the Beatles. A double album with rich orchestration and produced by Tom Wilson (Dylan & Zappa). Side Three and four are sidelong improvised trips.
Side 3 " Twice told tales of the pomegranate forest " English tale accompanied by xylophone, koto & bongos.
Side 4 " Samurai memories " Japanese recitation over a big orchestrated sound background with improvising guitar and organ.
A really strange but beautiful artifact of its time.

I'm a massive fan of this album and have spent a lot of time searching the internet hoping to find more recordings from Harumi. Iv read somewhere that he recorded another album in Japan, with the same title I think but im yet to find it. Is there anyone who might have more info on this or any other recordings from Harumi?
