One of the most boring labels that was ever spawned. Repetitive and unimaginative. Just goes to show you it's who you know, not what you know. OMG SURGEON, herp derp. Rubbish, it really is.

Downwards output is quite simply techno of the highest calibre. Their audio assaults unleash a torrent of minimal and repetitive grooves that perfectly reflects their harsh and bleak industrial location in the midlands. As early Detroit pioneers attempted to mimic the sounds of machines used by General Motors to reflect their importance within that particular society, so to have Downwards turned to their surroundings in order to create a symbiosis between music and the environment in which it is created. Downwards goal with each release appears to be mechanistic dancefloor devestation.
