Clean pressing- mix master is really good- I can imagine a better mix on most stuff but you dont know what the tapes sounded like- this mastering and pressing is about as good as youll find

Beautiful pressing. The clarity is astounding. Literally zero issues. Get this one if you can’t find an original/early press in nice shape

All of the songs on this album are great BUT “What’s become of the Baby” is hard for me to listen to… sounds like a drowning cat is slowly dying from heat exhaustion to me… not my cup of tea. It stinks this song takes up half of the second side of the album. Must of been mad Smokey when they thought that song up.

So as I've no other release to compare does anybody know which mix is used here? Thanks

I Found This Original Mix Version stuffed Inside a A Blues For Allah Cover at a Used Record Shop & New Immediately it was the Original Mix & Bought it. I Much Prefer this to the Warner Bros Remix. So Glad they Re-Released it on a Clean Digital Format as This scratchy & Poppy Vinyl is Hard to Listen To.

Wherein the GD get better & better w/ some fantastic folky songs morphed into Americana/psychedelia w/ clear production & more reliance on acoustics than effects. In the GD’s top 10 studio efforts & one of their more interesting releases.

Wow, very good press!! I have never the opportunity to compare to OGs but its very far better than the CD!! You can realize even the timber of the bass on it. The stereo and fade are awesome. Excellent press in my opinion.

Here is what I noticed with the early pressings. The RE-1 in the deadwax means you have the original mix and the RE-2 means you have the remix. I have w7 logo and the shield logo olive labeled pressings both with the OG mix. They both have RE-1 in the deadwax.

Phenomenal quality. A joy to watch spinning on the turntable. Track list is on the rear of the cover supplied.
