From 1967 to 2016, the English musician David Bowie has released twenty-six studio albums.

Low is the eleventh studio album by the British rock musician David Bowie and was released on January 14, 1977 on the RCA Records label.

The sound and production of this album were significantly influenced by Krautrock, the group Kraftwerk and especially Brian Eno, with whom Bowie also recorded the two follow-up albums "Heroes" and Lodger, which form his so-called "Berlin Trilogy" with Low from 1977 to 1979.

The UK first edition (David Bowie - Low) has a cover that uses a modified version of the US cover - the catalogue present in the top RH front corner of the US cover has been masked over (artifacts are visible); the fan club insert of the UK edition uses a different font where catalogue numbers differ from the US numbers. The UK spine copies the US spine and adds additional information. The rear sticker (attached to the UK cover) has the titles Left Margined, whereas the remainder of the album artwork uses a Centred style (as seen on the front cover, insert and US sticker).

My cat likes side two of this record just as much as The Flying Lizards album. I like it myself, but jeez...as much as The Flying Lizards..??

Great sounding record, I can only recommend purchasing old pressing of the Bowie records. The remasters tend to be bass heavy and quite soulless, while this one sounds extremely organic

My second press 1980 copy turned out to be very good. Better than a copy of the first USA press I had.

This is second press 1980 and my copy sounds very good. My first usa press 1977 was a bad copy. First copy is CPL. second AYL.

It certainly is a great album and a high quality pressing but the mix sucks. All the "booming bass" complains are spot on. There is a wide soundstage and a lot of detail but the bass gives you the feeling of sound coming from a rehearsal room. Turning down the bass a bit helps a lot though.

One of my favourite sounding records. Some noises at the beginning of Side B but nothing to complain about. Amazing.

Several versions of the album have passed through my hands. This is the best one I've ever heard. Wide 3D soundstage, crystal clear master, dead silent vinyl.

Has to be said. This is excellent. Flat, quiet vinyl and a nice remastering job.
If you are looking to replace a well worn copy, without paying silly money, you can't go wrong.

In this listing it says "A number of copies were packaged with a 20"x20" color poster".

There's no pic of it and I did a search in eBay and Google and there is no evidence of it. I smell BULLSHIT.
