Note. There are two distinct mixes of this album. The version available by most streaming services is the Rosner/Guryan original recording and mix. This was the version given licensed to Creed Taylor, who then added a series of overdubs recorded at Rudy Van Gelders studio. The result was the version originally released on vinyl by CTI in 1970.

- 1年前に編集されましたSeverely overlooked. For those who like Blossom Dearie pull back the curtain a bit an peep the man who wrote one of her "hippest" tunes. That classic humor is here in spades, but also features seriously great band. Honestly sounds like they packed all these guys in a shed. Very full sound coming from a small package. Expert use of electric instruments which was atypical for Frishberg, but it works. Very groovy sound, even dipping into psych with heavily reverbed guitar played by expert session man Stuart Scharf. Awesome record.
