19日前に編集されましたThis record has a nice quiet sound floor and my copy has no popping issues but it does sound a bit compressed where I’m turning the volume up probably 15% higher than other records
The band is grooving, Donald Byrd is grooving, this whole record is groovy! This pressing? The grooves are grooving too. A nice upfront groovy sound baby! Analog bayyyybay!- Very nice pressing of this funk-jazz gem from Donald Byrd.
Definitley worth picking up. Although, I have not heard any other pressings. - Typical example of a Japanese pressing from this time - dynamic, wide sound stage, great separation, sounds great. Cannot fault.
Masterpiece…
A Blue Note Revolutionary record.

Donald Byrd, 1982.- My copy is a bit warped and there are a few clicks on the very first track. The sound is decent, but I’m still disappointed.
Sound: 2/5 bit disappointing. Compressed.
Sleeve: 3/5 Average
Pressing: 2/5 Sharp edge. Surface noise.- This so needed a vinyl pressing its very hard to compute any fidelity in a cartridge tape.......
the tape quadraphonics was a gimmick for the car front to rear and rear to front kids and all - one has to ask........#
IF this is THE first UK release of this exceptional album..........
then how can this possibly be listed as a reissue ??? It can't, that text needs to be removed - This is the copy I have. Does anyone know when it was released?
