Glad to finally get a copy of this. I missed it on the limited release in 2011 and I have been looking for a copy ever since. The sound of the vinyl itself is also very good.

Essential for all lovers of the Black Ark's signature, and the sound is very good and clear... Happy to have grabbed a copy

This is an absolutely cracking lovers rock album, which actually suits Scratch's dubbed-up and slightly bonkers production job... he even manages to get away with the echo he's ladled all over her voice! Candy had a fine voice and this, the only album she made in her lifetime, deserves to be heard.

Some complaints about the mastering and sound quality below... bearing in mind this is from an old tape that was probably stored in less than optimal conditions it sounds pretty good to me. I picked it up on CD for £8... absolute bargain.

240 euros for that ! If Lee Perry no release it, it's for a reason... (Ok for collectors but not for this price... collect is a drug ! and babylon sellers are here)

styles given are totally misleading, neither reggae gospel nor reggae pop, no dub poetry and no lovers rock here ... Upsetter reggae from Black Ark ... but definitely far beyond his mid- to late 70s quality-standards.

There's a reason this was un-released. It is sub-par vocals, not good lee perry production some of his least inspired i've heard and the release has horrible mastering/sound. this is probably due to recovering a very old recording. i have many lee perry albums but recommend skipping this one.
