Would appreciate it if anyone can review this release please. How does it sound? The covers look like replicas of the original release which is good!

"If you're going to be out there, you might as well be right out there" seems to be mantra here. For me, a high point equal to Peggy Suicide in Mr. Cope's career.

Another criminally overlooked album of the past! How does this happen? Anyway, fried is a varied neo psych/pop album that has replay value which isn’t that what we all want in our lps? It is certainly an important trait for me. Pick up this original UK as it has fantastic balance

Great collection of tracks including the three extra songs from the Sunspots double pack 7” - although bizarrely not the remixed version of Sunspots itself 🤷‍♂️.
Reasonable booklet with a substantial essay about the album.
One of the greatest album sleeves from the 80s. I bought this when it was released and it certainly felt as though it had nothing in common with its 1985 contemporaries.
SQ sounds good to me. No doubt the obsessives on the Hoffman Sanitorium would disagree.

Man, this pressing sounds fantastic. A little bright, perhaps, but everything chimes and shines through. Wonderful.

One of the few albums in my collect where the bonus tracks are actually worth listening to!

A lot of attention is lavished on the cover photos of Julian under a turtle shell, for me the music transcends such publicity seeking nonsense and stands on its own today as much as it did at time of release. From the desperation of Reynard The Fox, to the fragility of Me Singing, the bluster of Sunspots, to the drug induced silliness of I Went On A Chourney, this is an album of contrasts, whilst remaining a coherent whole.
