Bob Marley & The Wailers – Uprising

My record #0960 showed up with a leak inside the shrink wrap.

Its a limited release, but does anyone know the number of limitation?

This pressing is extremely good. Very punchy bass, very warm sound.

Also own the UK original, half speed reissue, Diament CD, etc. This US version might be all you’ll ever need. Explosive and vibrant sound quality, absolutely fantastic!!!

Bought by my mom on a trip to Jamaica in the '90s as a souvenir. This sounds surprisingly good, as far as the pressing goes. Much cleaner and quieter than the copy of Natty Dread she bought at the same time, and also much more dynamic.

This is a fantastic sounding pressing; both wonderful depth and lots of open space.

I also echo the high sound quality, particularly the amazing clear and deep bass.

I have Exodus original issued by Island Records, Soul Rebel original, and Catch A Fire original. The Tuff Gong of Uprising is my favorite recording of Bob’s voice and instrumentals. Very immersive and warm. I recommend this Tuff Gong release over Island Records. Superb recording for it’s time.
