An easy 5 stars from me.

I loved this album when it first released. Now here I am spinning it at home in July 2025 on a Friday night, with a few of my children, and a few of our grandchildren and we’re having the time of our life. The grandkids love it!

Agree - great pressing of a great album. Words words words

I was in high school when this came out and Genius of Love was considered such an edgy , experimental track. We used to spend hours playing that song backwards looking for Satanic messages. Ah those were the days.

Talking Heads were a huge group with a fanatical fan base...The core of the group were art students in the New England area...plus they were in just about the best concert movie ever made, "Stop Making Sense"...After the group's success the husband and wife team of Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz formed a fun splinter group that hit the road now and again and performed at clubs like New York's CBGB...Tina played bass and hubby Chris was on the skins plus her two sisters were on this LP that was recorded in the Bahamas where they resided for a bit...Tom Tom Club had several minor hits over the years and made some great rock music...

Going to pile on. I don’t have other versions to compare to but this sounds immaculate on my system. Picked up used copy and will become one of my “this is what a good system sounds like” go to LPs. Punchy, great stereo image, music drips off the walls. Nice and polite Tokyo neighbors agree

Exceptional transparency and depth, don't know how a reissue would beat this

I have to agree with the other comments, I decided to go for a Japanese pressing over one of the newer ones as I've always had good experience buying used Japanese vinyl.
This pressing is absolutely superb. The dynamics are amazing and there is tons of detail, dead flat and clean with barely any audible noise. Very impressed with this 43 year old record!!

Superb pressing, dynamic and full of life. My copy plays super silently and the music just bounces out of the speakers. A real joy whenever I play it, highly recommend if you can grab a nice copy.
