Trema (or Disques Trema) was founded in 1969 by Jacques Revaux and Régis Talar. Trema was one of most successful independent labels in France, mostly thanks to Michel Sardou's records. Trema stands for Talar Revaux Editions Musicales Associées. It became a sublabel of Universal Music S.A. in 2004.
