- If they are responsible for the 2021 Half Waif on Anti-, which they seem to be, and the 2021 Lucy Dacus, which they seem to be, then they are officially the worst pressing plant going as they are comically unable to press a centered record. Comically as in the tone arm just swings back and forth like it's on a playground. If this is the case, they need to be shut down for remedial training as their product is garbage.

turn into this plant https://www.discogs.com/label/1026890-Independent-Record-Pressing ... It's in the same location it's the exact same record plant ... it would take me 30 minutes to drive to this place and walk in and yell WHY IS THIS PLANT NOT LIKE HUB-SERVALL ... The Tom Waits new masterings were done by Tom and Kathleen... I don't think that was wise ... I have the digital downloads and CD;s of them and all the originals were better sounding... Who even knows what they were even using as sources. - Edited 6 years agoThis new record plant is now taking over the title of "Worst Pressing Plant" from United Record Pressing and Rainbo! Some of their recent victims include "Villains" by Queens of the Stone Age; "OK Computer" reissue by Radiohead; and the recent Dead Can Dance reissues. All of these are horrible pressings with extreme amounts of surface noise. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to tell their pressings by the deadwax; I can spot them by look and feel. If you know for sure there's a release pressed here, avoid it. They don't seem to have any quality control.
EDIT - They are also responsible for the recent Tom Waits reissues and most releases from Anti- (their parent company Epitaph owns this plant). All of them are terrible. AVOID!
