Japanese label owned by Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. and created by Pizzicato Five mastermind Yasuharu Konishi in 1997. On the releases the label appears as ********* Records, Tokyo.

In 2002 Nippon Columbia changed its name to Columbia Music Entertainment and Readymade Records in turn was reestablished as columbia*readymade.

NOTE: This is not the same as Readymade International which is an indie label.
