Intim Musik was a record label from Gothenburg, Sweden. The label mainly produced albums (CD) with classical music from the Renaissance until today, as well as jazz.
Intim Musik was started by the musician Jan Johansson (5) and recorded their first albums in 1989, and has hundreds of titles on the list. They often used young promising musicians, thus helping them in their careers and making high-quality albums at a lower cost. The record company published a series of albums with music by Dmitry Shostakovich. They also hired established artists, such as Sonya Hedenbratt and Svend Asmussen, with music for a slightly narrower audience.
