For the label use Randy's.
The biggest JA music distributor / label begun in 1958 by Vincent "Randy" Chin and Patricia Chin at 36 East Street. The family moved the business to Queens, New York in 1977 and began using "VP Records" and "VP Records Distributors." Randy's Studio was Studio 17. "Studio 17" is sometimes etched in runout area of records mastered there. Studio 17 was upstairs accessed by an iron gate that opened onto Parade, the store was at ground level then there was a location on site for producing the stampers reached from going downstairs from the studio. One can also find the initials of Vincent Chin etched on some of these recordings.
Randy's Recording Studio & record manufacturing were parts of the same concern; a Company role of Lacquer Cut at Randy's Records can be identified by "R.R.S." or "RRS" etched in the runout area.
