Atlanta Artists

Atlanta, Georgia-based dance/r&b label created by Larry Blackmon of Cameo in 1983, primarily as an outlet for Cameo recordings, band members' side projects and Blackmon's own productions. Originally pressed and distributed in North America only (with Phonogram UK releasing the label's output on the Club label and other markets releasing it on Mercury).

The label was closed after Cameo left PolyGram for Reprise Records in the early 1990s. The Atlanta Artists catalog was then folded into Mercury, which ironically manages the 1976-82 Casablanca Records/Chocolate City Cameo catalog.
