Profile: | The Sound-O-Mat has released music, primarily from Portland, OR area bands, since 1998 including by Austere and their solo side-projects, The Mystifying Oracle and Freq Magnet. The label is also responsible a series of special boxed "shape CDR" releases called "Music for Seances: Talking Board series" that were sold through Art*O*Mat vending machines and directly from the label. |
