Alphacut was established in 2003 in Leipzig Germany, releasing Contemporary Jungle, experimental Drum & Bass, all kinds of weird electronic noises and more innocently labeled music, featuring worldwide up and coming artists, broken beats, heavy basslines, open minded sounds and a healthy bit of ruff dancefloor attitude.
Alphacut Records is releasing 12" vinyl artist-split singles for more or less imaginary dancefloors. Thought for both DJs and collectors, it is featuring audiophile cuts, coloured vinyl, numbered limitations and locked groove loops on top!
The label manager and owner Axel Weber, aka LXC, is also audio engineer for R.A.N.D. Muzik. He works also as independant audio engineer for his own studio which is called Alphacut by notoriety. Cutting is done at R.A.N.D. Muzik studio. Runout shows LXC / ALPHACUT / RAND or Alphacut is on label but it does not mean it's an Alphacut records. Please do not confuse Alphacut Records company and Alphacut studio (credited on LXC page in Technical).
