Requiem Records is Polish underground label which has produced and promoted alternative music in its widest sense for over two decades. They take from various sources, such as the archives of The Polish Radio's Experimental Studio, edited as the Exclusive Archive Series. The label revives the recordings of Polish bands from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s (the Archive Series). They also give classical music a slightly more popular feeling through the Opus Series, while the Requiem for Disco editions invite you to dance.

Requiem has been active in the publishing industry for over a decade, promoting electronic, ambient and postindustrial music. The music published by Requiem is subtle and mysterious -- archaic, but created with a modern instrumentation, It's a type of music which escapes all types of classification. Requiem isn't based on mutual adoration and often - as the only publisher in Poland - enables unknown artists to be published and promoted. It proves that the so-called 'underground' are full-fledged musicians who have nothing to be ashamed of in a confrontation with mainstream artists.
