Darkmatter Soundsystem started in 2001 in order to fill the void in the Los Angeles underground and showcase extreme electronics and splintered beats in independent autonomous zones. The collective is also a label that puts out vinyl and digital releases. Artists include: ADC, BAD TIMING, Bambule, Baseck, Dimentia, Diskore, Dynasty, Fiend, Minion, Monotek, Nemeton, Pink Abduction Ray, Poxxe, Resurrector, Shrill, Sko, Sonic Death Rabbit, Standox, Vextenex, Wet Mango, and WMX.
