Born In Israel, Matt was playing the violin till the age of 14 when he discovered girls, drugs and electronic music, he moved to play the bass followed by guitar, keys and drums (although the latter is questionable.;-).
Running a rehearsal room and engineering in a studio Matt took his first step in production while working with different bands. Discovering club music in the early 90's Matt moved to the centre of it all, London. With a degree in music tech and sound engineering from Kingston University's Gateway school of music, Matt started working in the Hithouse in Hammersmith in 1994/5 with the likes of Farley jack masterfunk, dirty rotten scandals, Mat jam and Carl brown and many more while producing records with James Reynolds (Felix Baumgartner).
Matt honed his skills and moved to the BeatFarm studios in 1996/8, making hundreds of records with the likes of Massive attack, Mica Paris, Arthur baker, Sara J, Tall Paul, Wamdue project, JTQ and a host of others while developing unsigned bands and seeing them get a big deals only to fuck it all up, and making his own records when he found a spare moment.
In 1998 Matt decided to concentrate on his career as an artist as well as a producer bought a little studio and in 2000 he started Destined records.
Matt's skills as an engineer and programmer as well as musical background and state of the art recording studio make destined shine above the rest with constant high quality records and attention to detail that is hardly heard in today's dance music.
Destined has already made its mark with numerous Club chart toppers and a few top 10 hits such as 'The Drill', 4tune500, Deepest Blue, M'black and DADA.
