ROIR

Neil Cooper (3) founded NYC's ROIR (short for "Reachout International Records") as a cassette-only label in 1981. The label has released an amazing amount of truly pivotal underground albums spanning a number of genres including punk, indie, dub, reggae, industrial and more. Many of their cassette releases were later issued on vinyl and CD.

Some licensing credits also may read ROIR Records or ROIR Records USA. Also occasionally ROIR Cassettes is credited.
