Originally Arthur Baker's first record label, based in New York City they released dance, rap, electro, pop, and soul.
Manufacturing and distribution for Streetwise and associated labels were often handled in house by Streetwise Records Ltd. and copyrights were held by Streetwise Records. Its catalog is presently controlled by Phase One Network, an asset management company.
