AS IF there are no comments for Pulse 8. Let me tell you, as a pubescent who was proper into his bangers, nowt would give me greater pleasure than trawling the bargain bin of the local Our Price, looking for their stuff. On cassette single, of course.

I was gutted when they folded. Not least because they'd just signed Sunscreem, who had, put out a trippy anthem in the shape of 'Catch'.

Some of their stuff was shit, admittedly. 'All I do' by Voodoo Blue defo springs to mind there. And I never got 'I Lift My Cup' either; way less than the sum of its parts. Never mind all the shitey cover versions of songs that really ought to have been consigned to the toilet of history.

But then the good outweighed the bad here, always. Urban Cookie Collective. Rozalla. Captain Hollywood Project. Maxx. The Sleazesisters. Secret Life. Boxcar. What more could ya be wanting?
