One of my favorite labels, now passed. Beware the pressing quality on their records; like several of my favorite small labels, they press(ed) at Optimal, and more than half of the records I’ve encountered have very audible pressing defects (as is common with most records pressed at Optimal). Buyer beware if you’re dropping $$$ on an out of press Tropic of Cancer or w/e sight unseen. Here is to hoping any future reissues are pressed at a decent plant.
