UK garage label run by brothers Tarik and Ziad Nashnush (aka DJ Ziad) and Nick Worthington initially based at their Pure Groove record shop in Archway, north London.
The label's first release in 1996 was Todd Edwards - Locked On. Inside The Mix. (See Locked On (2) for the related series.)
In collaboration with XL Recordings, Locked On built a reputation for their singles catalogue which included crossover success with Artful Dodger’s ‘Moving Too Fast’, Wideboys 'Sambuca' and Zed Bias ‘Neighbourhood’.
Its biggest success was signing The Streets to the label, whose sophomore album ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ sold 4× platinum and reached number 1 in the UK album charts.
