December 27, 2014Massive releases, which more often than not are brimming over with soul that touch you.
Lately some tributes to Seba Jun have been released. I commend this and appreciate that his music is being put out there too touch peoples' soul, at least that's what his music does to me.
The only one thing I miss is that the way these releases are kept limited, and therefor unavailable to so many fans. Especially the vinyl releases are ridiculously rare and therefor very expensive.
I sometimes wonder if this is the way he would have wanted this. Music to be limited to a small few, who can afford it.
That being said I truly have faith others, whom have "control" over these masterworks, will decide to release mass-pressings on vinyl (so it can be used to DJ with, as hiphop is meant to be imho), and also the albums only released on CD will be made available as such. Alas this is probably just wishful thinking on my part, but still, it has to be said, many are thinking this for sure. (:
I really hope to see this label continue, there are truly remarkable artists, for example Uyama Hiroto, who also manage to strive to new heights when it comes to music whose music needs to be put out there each and every time! (:

Rest in peace Seba Jun.
