Profile:	This is a COMPANY, not a label. For the label, use Decca Decca Records, Inc. was started in 1934 by The Decca Record Company Limited as the US branch for its Decca record label. This US branch was sold during 1943, when the US government insisted that UK companies sell their US subsidiaries. From that moment, Decca Records, Inc. operated independent from its UK mother company. Acquired by MCA Inc. in 1962.
