One of BOD's sister companies was BMS Berlin Mastering Services.
Company history:
BOD started as BOD Berlin Optical Disc GmbH in 1991. It was the successor of CDT Compact Disc Tonträger GmbH, also known as CDT Berlin.
In 1999 the company name was changed to "DOCdata Germany BOD Berlin Optical Disc GmbH" and the reference in the matrix changed to DOCdata Germany. This was used until 2008, when the company name changed to DOCdata Media GmbH. CDs from then on mentioned "DOCdata Media" in the matrix.
After a buyout in 2010, the company name reverted back to BOD Berlin Optical Disc GmbH.
