| Profile: | Headspace Recordings was founded in Cardiff in 1996 by Tom Churchill and Raeph Powell and was described in DJ Magazine as 'one of the world's finest deep techno outlets'. Sister label Emoticon was launched in 2001 to focus on broken beats and abstract electronics. Based in Glasgow from 2002, both labels ceased trading in 2006.
