Profile:
Early 90's UK Hardcore / Jungle label run from the Kings Road record shop of the same name. The shop & label moved to Holloway Road in '94 with the studio (Monroe studios) being based next door. DJ Harmony, Steve Lyall, Tonic, Mampi Swift & Ash-A-Tack were also employees in the shop.
Shop closed down in '95, with Section 5 opening the following day. This caused a large amount of tension between Lucky Spin & Moving Shadow (the owners of the new Section 5 store).

The label's logo is based on "Razzberry", a character from the comic series "Cheech Wizard" drawn by Vaughn Bodē.

I think every single release on this label needs a repress so that more people can spin these records and fill their ear cavities with this sweet sweet sound!

I'm completely repeating myself from having just written this on the Deejay page too but Lucky Spin and Deejay will always be in my top 5 labels - they were on form from 92-96ish and really pushed the scene in those formative years. People talk about Metalheadz and Moving Shadow all the time but these guys were solid and you can always go back and find some real gems from both labels. Unfortunately half the stuff got slept on but thanks to Youtube and Discogs you can still track down the magic.
