German hard and acid trance at it's best, on form! This label marked a beginning and an end in rave culture throughout the 90's and early 00'. Their output was massive, consistent in quality with every release they published. When I heard for the very 1st time the synth line of are am eye I was blown away. Still today that track is amazing. My life changed there and then! Much respect to all the producers that released tracks on it.
Some Noom tracks stands for the beauty of an unforgotten hardtrance decade. It was the end of the hard tekkno years and the producers from South Germany gave the ravers the new soundtrack for endless nights. Many things had happen, new friendships were founded and the face of techno turnes to the signs of the real big business. It was the last phase before the raving years finally lost their special quality. Tracks like "Are am Eye", "Tres Chic", and "Aragon" are unforgotten.
The label Noom is a well respected label within the hard trance community. This label has been on the go for a good number of years producing a steady flow of quality darker trance. There has been many different quality music producers releasing on this label... such as Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. The Drummer,Commander Tom and Nostrum. The label has managed to keep that typical Noom sound even with the number of different artists featuring on the label. Noom was a promenant sound in the northern UK underground music scene. It has pleased many ears over the years and still brings that tingle to body now as the first time i heard a noom release. This is a label well worth digging into if you love the darker side. But be warned once your in there is no turning back, with the number of releases it will be a journey... but believe me once your in you wont look back.
