Established on April 15, 1971 after renaming Companhia Brasileira De Discos, which was already owned by Philips since 1958. In 1978 renamed to Polygram Discos Ltda. The company also operated a vinyl manufacturing plant in Barra Da Tijuca/Rio de Janeiro. Lacquer cuts are identifiable by a "200" in the runout matrix. NOTE: This is not a label.
