November 23, 2020Now, however, seems to have capitulated to the crypto-trance (let's go harder and faster but be super clean and clinical) festival circuit but given we're in the middle of a pandemic I'm hoping they prove me wrong and just say fuck it and put out some french speedcore or rhythmic noise. But i was so disappointed by the latest AnD ep, in 2012-16 they were all over early expire, djax, earwiggle, tolkachev etc. And the latest few sets i heard from them before they split up, well shocked would probably be an understatement. If you're going to sound like hardstyle at least be honest and work in that scene rather than this ironic thing. The MarcelDune ep was equally as disappointing. I'm hoping this is a brief loss of direction and the boys will get back to releasing no nonsense mayhem without corny stadium tricks soundtracking an Alternative für Deutschland ralley.
